An open letter

Dear Alumni and Fellow Good Christian,

Greetings in Christ!

This letter is to congratulate you in your success in the venture of your career. However, I would like to apologize if I’ll take this advantage of coming to you because of my intention to solicit. I just think God rests to you his favors and that somehow, we, in the name of the Saint Theresa College family, who in the course of time still trying to endure the meagerness of our funds just to serve our fellow needy parishioners, would also like to be graced by the blessings you have received from the Almighty’s kindness.
We dream to have new and good musical instruments in our band since most of them are all old and dysfunctional.  We need at around Php500,000.00 for lights and sounds equipments. There are few who had responded already, I would also like to know if your heart is willing to help us.

We in the STC Family will be very glad for this gift. We will cherish and we will be very proud of you as one that has become a part of us. Surely our constant prayer will always be there for you.

The instruments he had donated are the following: Yamaha Amplifier Mixer and 2 Yamaha Speakers with portable stand..

Other donated instruments were coming from concerned alumnus: Mr Grego Minoza for the drumset accesories and upgrade worth Php 40,000.00 and Mr. Boy Quijano for wireless Microphones worth Php 25,000.00.

The Band showcased their talents during the first evening of the Grand Alumni Home Coming. It was becoming more exhilarating when they played the original compositions of Fr. Carlos P. Bautista.

However, it is still apparent that the band still lacking of instruments which are necessary for a quality music entertainment. The amplifier cannot accomodate all the instruments, and with the vocals, it is lower in capacity. No separate mixer that will adjust the whole group of sounds. The 2 speakers are not enough to fill a huge crowd, no monitor speakers for the players, microphones are lacking, amplifiers for instrument are lesser in power, gadget for lead guitar should be upgraded.

However all members of the band are too enthusiastic and they played whatever there is. Yet in our mind we dream of the quality band instruments specially when we record our first DVD.
